Neus – Verfijnd, gedistingeerd. In de eerste neus domineert duidelijk een kruidige, zilte en verbrande turf. Bij het laten ademen doen fruit, bloemen en munt hun intrede, wat het aromapalet in een stroomversnelling brengt.

Deze uitgestelde release stond natuurlijk vorig jaar al op de planning, maar is eind 2022 dan toch eindelijk hier! Deze expressie is gemaakt met hetzelfde vatting recept als de “gewone” Machir Bay Botteling.

Neus: Bijenhoning met kandijsuiker en vers gebakken pannenkoeken met stroop en appel. Smaak: Het mondgevoel is vol en geeft smaken van butterscotch, limoen, warme honing met chocolade. Een heerlijke zoete whisky van grootse kwaliteit.

Kleur: Donker (rood) bruin, mahonie Neus: zacht fruit met pruimen en dadels, melasse, vanilleroom en melkchocolade. Geroosterde walnoten en harde toffee. Smaak: sinaasappel in pure chocolade met verschillende lagen van gember en kruidnagel met ook hier een notenmix met dadelcake (Sticky Toffee Pudding).

ZICHT/KLEUR Amber. GEUR Een kenmerkende geur met complexe aroma's. SMAAK Zacht en rond van smaak. Citrustonen als limoen en grapefruit gecombineerd met gember en kaneel. Gevolgd door perzik en ahornsiroop.
