In de Friese whisky stokerij Us Heit Distillery uit Bolsward wordt een bijzondere single malt whisky gestookt, genaamd Frysk Hynder. Ambachtelijk gedistilleerd met alle eigenschappen van het ras- echte Friese paard: krachtig, eigenzinnig en in een uiterlijk fraaie vorm gegoten.

nose: Full and fruity with soft notes of citrus fruit, honey and spices along with vanilla and oak. taste: Rich honey with spicy notes of vanilla, black pepper and oak.

FIRST FILL SHERRY! Neus: Een luxe aroma van aardbeien en zoete kruiden, gekke zure bessen snoep, zacht leer en bramen, boomgaard fruit met een scheutje chocoladepoeder.   Gehemelte: Roodfluwelen sponscake, zachte sinaasappel en honing mengen zich over het midden palet, slepend boomgaardfruit, wat moerbei, gekruide fruitcake, gember en perziken, ahornsiroop met een scheutje paprika's.  

Komt van de GlenAllachie distilleerderij. Deze single malt is geboren in 2007 en na zijn distillatie meteen in een single refill butt vat gelegd om zo te rijpen. Toen dit vat 14 jaar later werd geopend zijn er 785 flessen uit voort gekomen, waarvan 36 flessen beschikbaar zijn voor Nederland.

Begin 2017 lanceerde Glenmorangie de Grand Vintage Malt 1990. De eerste release in de Bond House No. 1 Collection en daarmee feitelijk de opvolger van de 25yo Quarter Century. In deze Bond House serie verwelkomen we nu de achtste release, de 1998 Grand Vintage Malt.
