Ardbeg Ten Years Old is revered around the world as the peatiest, smokiest, most complex single malt of them all. Yet it does not flaunt the peat; rather it gives way to the natural sweetness of the malt to produce a whisky of perfect balance.

Nose: Pockets of spicy nutmeg float upon a calming vanilla. Palate: A fruitiness follows on the vanilla sea alongside the nutmeg. Orange buoys bob up and down, sharp and fresh.

In de Friese whisky stokerij Us Heit Distillery uit Bolsward wordt een bijzondere single malt whisky gestookt, genaamd Frysk Hynder. Ambachtelijk gedistilleerd met alle eigenschappen van het ras- echte Friese paard: krachtig, eigenzinnig en in een uiterlijk fraaie vorm gegoten.
