Neus: geuren van zee spray, houtskool met wat ananas en mango Smaak: honing, gedroogd fruit (sultanas) melkchocolade en gesuikerde amandelen. Finish: subtiele turfrook met geroosterd eikenhout en witte peper

Lochlea Distillery, vlak bij Ayr in het zuiden van Schotland is één van de nieuwste, en direct één van de meest geliefde distilleerderijen in Schotland geworden. Lochlea “Our Barley” is de eerste botteling die onder leiding van Distillery Manager John Campbell is samengesteld en gebotteld.

Neus: kleverige dadels, met speculaaskruiden en sporen van warme cacao en chocolade. Smaak: in de mond meer van dit alles waarbij de tong vooral bedekt wordt door kruiden en cacao.

Komt van de GlenAllachie distilleerderij. Deze single malt is geboren in 2007 en na zijn distillatie meteen in een single refill butt vat gelegd om zo te rijpen. Toen dit vat 14 jaar later werd geopend zijn er 785 flessen uit voort gekomen, waarvan 36 flessen beschikbaar zijn voor Nederland.

Ardbeg Uigeadail (pronounced 'Oog-a-dal') is a special vatting that marries Ardbeg's traditional deep, smoky notes with luscious, raisiny tones of old ex-Sherry casks.
