Nose: quite a few classic markers, like leafy notes, green tobacco, hummus and plenty of roasted nuts. Some earthy notes and pumpernickel. Plain malt. Herbal tea. A specific style of sherry, fairly thin with hardly any fruits.

Bij Teeling probeert men altijd onconventionele wegen te bewandelen. Dat is met deze dertien jaar oude grain zeker weer gelukt. De whisky werd gestookt uit een ongebruikelijke mix van 95% mais en 5% gemoute gerst.

Neus: Smeulend eikenhout, ingelegd gras met een parfum van turf. Smaak: “beschaafd” rokerig met boterkoek en wit fruit. Afdronk: lekker rokerig wat overgaat in zoet.

New make whisky made at the Mars Shinshu Distillery was transported all the way to the Mars tsunuki distillery in kagoshima for storage. Made with shinshu's distilling equipment and aged in the warmer region.

Neus: groots en meeslepend met gerookte bacon, zachte donkere kruiden met zilte en zoute invloeden. Smaak: de mond loopt over van zilte invloeden met daarbij eikenhout en rood fruit. Afdronk: rijk, lang en buitengewoon smaakvol.

A Sweet and fruity nose teases indulgent notes of orange blossom, honeycomb, ripe bananas, rich toffee, caramel wafers, and butterscotch. On the palate there's Stroopwafel, sultana cake and orange peel, with darker things including sweet liquorice, cacao nibs, brambles, and charred twigs underneath.

Deze uitzonderlijke whisky is gemaakt met behulp van het speciale 'quadruple aging'-proces, ontwikkeld door Master Blender, Stephanie MacLeod. Deze 32 jaar oude release is gefinisht in Pedro Ximenez-vaten, wat de whisky "rijke, rijpe strooptonen met een vleugje rokerigheid en een zijdezachte afdronk" geeft.
