The NV Pedro Ximénez Solera 1927 is non-vintage, but does have some 1927 material in it. This is totally dark brown/ amber with notes of figs, toffee, caramel syrup, molasses and coffee. It is dense, super sweet, intense, rich and an amazingly, unctuously textured, thick beverage to consume slowly and introspectively after a meal. Drink now through 2050, or even longer.
Een vrolijkmakende champagne met karakter. Licht bloemig en citrusachtig in de geur. Geconcentreerd met zachte appel, sappige peer en het notige van amandel en hazelnoot.

A pristine style focused on linden tree, white flowers, lemon pulp, tangerine zest and chalk, showing a somewhat austere profile on the nose. Light-bodied, it shines with fine, lingering bubbles.
Laurel leaf and raspberries on the nose. Cinnamon and sumac, rust and red plums. Tight, elegant, finely crimped tannins. Old chimney pots in the rain. Minerality runnelled into every fibre.

This is a concentrated, deep, pure Malbec framed by controlled power and velvety tannins. It concludes with a spicy, smoky finish and some freshness and tension. Muscular, well-crafted Cahors.
