De Canadees Patrick Piuze ruilde – na jarenlang een wijnbar te hebben gerund – zijn geboorteland om voor de Bourgogne. Na ervaring op te hebben gedaan bij een aantal grootheden in de streek, begon hij in 2008 zijn eigen wijndomein in Chablis.

Beaujolais zoals deze vroeger werd gemaakt: zonder snoepjesgeur, maar met een frisse, pittige en evenwichtige smaak. Op zijn best bij koude vleesschotels of lichte stoofgerechten.

Stijlvolle rode Rioja met kracht, verfijning en fraai eiken. Een open geur van rode bes, kers, pruim, vanille en toast. De smaak is puur en gelaagd met rijp bessenfruit, frisse zuren en rijpe, notige tannines.

Deze Single cask is afgevuld op 55% abv. Fijne rokerigheid die het midden houdt tussen Islay en Highland peat, ondersteund door vanille en een expressieve fruitigheid die komt van het first-fill Heaven hill bourbonvat.
