Rokerige single malt van het eiland Mull - ja, het is weer een uitstekende Ledaig van de Tobermory-distilleerderij! Deze uitdrukking werd gedistilleerd in 2005 en aanvankelijk gerijpt in een bourbon hogshead voordat het werd overgeplaatst naar een first-fill rumvat van de Diamond Distillery in Guyana voor een laatste periode.

Neus: florale geuren meegegeven met verse roomboterwafels en een snufje eikenhout. Smaak: Het mondgevoel is soepel en romig met Toblerone in de zon, rijpe pruimen, geroosterde hazelnoten en zoute drop.

Aroma: Een scherpe uitbarsting van gerookte room, pepermunt en toffee, met Ardbeg’s klassieke venkel- en dennenhars.Verre aardse vreugdevuren vermengen zich met kruiden en fruitige (banaan en tropische) tonen, samen met geurig kaarsvet.

Heel fraaie, mousserende witte wijn met het aroma van vers gebrande koffie en gedroogd fruit. Dankzij de krachtige, rijpe smaak erg lekker als aperitief of bij vis met een stevige saus.
