Voor de White Heather 15YO heeft Billy Walker gebruikt gemaakt van zijn kenmerkende blending methode. Hiervoor ondergaan whisky’s hun eerste rijping van ten minste twaalf jaar in sherry vaten, first fill ex-bourbon vaten, of second fill vaten.

A Great example of this wonderful orcadian distillery! The nose delivers peach melba, lychee, gorse flower, sweetcorn lathered with butter. Sea salt and a distant coastal bonfire smoke with lingering hazelnuts brittle.

Kleur: zeer diep goud. Neus: de vaten waren goed verzorgd, bramengelei, melasse en ahornsiroop, frambozenganache of truffels (chocolade) en pecantaart. Er komen ook wat bloemige tinten uit, zoals iris en lila, plus jasmijn, en dan nogal wat verschillende halva's, pistache, pinda....
