Deze Glen Elgin is gerijpt in refill en first fill Oloroso sherry hogsheads. Geuren sinaasappel en citroen gaan over in honing, amandelcroissants en vers gesneden bloemen. Op de tong gezouten peer, ingelegde appel, witte kruiden en marsepein.

100% Sherry Seasoned Colour: Golden Oak Aroma: Sweet ginger with toasted oak, vanilla and butterscotch with an underlying orange warmth Palate: Sweet with notes of raisin, caramel, toasted oak and sweet citrus.

De distillery is in 2004 afgebroken en dichtbij weer opnieuw opgebouwd. De productie hervatte in juni 2005. Dit vat is in 1995 afgevuld, dus dit is er een uit de originele distillery!
