Arran 10 Years Single Malt is een heerlijke amber kleurige single malt scotch whisky afkomstig uit de Arran regio van Schotland. Hij heeft voor tien jaar lang mogen rijpen waardoor er een zeer aangenaam zoet aroma ontstaat van romige vanille met een vleugje kaneel dat zorgt voor een lekker kruidig randje aan zijn algemene geur profiel.

Distilled at Benriach Distillery Aged 23 Years Distilled 1997 Bottled 2020 Matured in an ex sherry butt 427 bottles only  

Distilled at Tomatin distillery aged 21 years distilled 1999 bottled 2020 matured in a hogshead 311 bottles only

Distilled at Tomatin distillery aged 30 years distilled 1990 bottled 2020 matured in a hogshead 180 bottles only

On the nose, bananas with charred oak, pecan nuts and vanilla; a medley of tropical fruits with thick, creamy caramel notes and strong coffee.

Nose: quite a few classic markers, like leafy notes, green tobacco, hummus and plenty of roasted nuts. Some earthy notes and pumpernickel. Plain malt. Herbal tea. A specific style of sherry, fairly thin with hardly any fruits.

Het is 1797 wanneer John Sinclair, een vernieuwende kelp handelaar, de aanvraag indient om een stuk land te leasen genaamd Ledaig. (spreek uit als Letch-ik). Ledaig betekent veilige haven. Na een initiële afwijzing bleef Sinclair volhouden en een jaar later was de distillery geboren.
