Hello! What do we have here!!? A beautiful 28 Year old single grain from the North British Distillery. This baby spent its total life span in het same cask, so this is a true single cask.

Aged Grains, There are only few things that can make us happier. This 36 Years old invergordon finished her journeyon a very active tawny port cask. Unmistakable a grain, and a perfect grain that is.

The Macallan 25 Years Annual 2023 Release

Vanilla aromas lead to peach and lycee flavour of baked apple and aniseed give way to subtle mature oak. A medium length finish with hints of menthol liquorice.

Cinnamon spice gives way to orange peel and morello cherry aromas. Blackcurrant leaves lead to citrus peel and demerara sugar flavours. A full and spicy finish with lingering toffee and mature oak.

NEUS: heel verfijnd en elegant! Lichte hint van fruit en noten met een vleugje subtiele rook van spek, daarna fudge en zoete spekjes. SMAAK: krachtiger dan de geur doet vermoeden.

Neus: eerst een neusprikkel, waarna geuren van een fruitsalade combineren met tumtum, bessen limonadesiroop, maar ook sigarenrook en vers gemalen koffiebonen. Gepoetste leren schoenen en zelfs vers gemalen peper. Smaak: ook op de tong eerst veel fruit, waarna vers gebrande noten, eikenhout, donkerrood fruit(siroop) overgaan in donkerder leer en eikenhout.
