The NV Pedro Ximénez Solera 1927 is non-vintage, but does have some 1927 material in it. This is totally dark brown/ amber with notes of figs, toffee, caramel syrup, molasses and coffee. It is dense, super sweet, intense, rich and an amazingly, unctuously textured, thick beverage to consume slowly and introspectively after a meal. Drink now through 2050, or even longer.
Een vrolijkmakende champagne met karakter. Licht bloemig en citrusachtig in de geur. Geconcentreerd met zachte appel, sappige peer en het notige van amandel en hazelnoot.

A pristine style focused on linden tree, white flowers, lemon pulp, tangerine zest and chalk, showing a somewhat austere profile on the nose. Light-bodied, it shines with fine, lingering bubbles.
Dry River has navigated it deftly, producing a finely structured, detailed wine with pretty aromatics of blue and red fruits, cocoa powder, blood orange, bay leaf and graphite.

Powerful with nice texture and fresh bright cherries and berries. There some spicy detail here. This is supple and bright and despite the density, shows real elegance.

In the mouth, the wine is sweetly fruited, with a gorgeous display of pomegranate and scraped vanilla pod, cranberry and cherry. It's an utter delight to drink.
