Maar bij Ruinart hanteert men eigen kwaliteitsnormen: deze champagne heeft meer dan 36 maanden op zijn gistdepot gerijpt en heeft daardoor geweldig aan verfijning gewonnen.

Ook de Ruinart Rosé Brut komt in de kenmerkende bolle fles. Zelfs in deze rosé champagne wordt het Ruinart-kenmerk par excellence – het grote aandeel chardonnay – doorgevoerd. De witte variëteit heeft een verbazingwekkend aandeel van 45 procent in deze excellente, bruisende rosé.

In de Friese whisky stokerij Us Heit Distillery uit Bolsward wordt een bijzondere single malt whisky gestookt, genaamd Frysk Hynder. Ambachtelijk gedistilleerd met alle eigenschappen van het ras- echte Friese paard: krachtig, eigenzinnig en in een uiterlijk fraaie vorm gegoten.

Een goede begeleider van wildschotels en kruidige gerechten moet krachtig zijn. Met volle, rijpe tannines, zodat ook smaakintense sauzen goed combineren. De geurintensiteit is ook belangrijk, want die bepaalt in sterke mate de lengte en kwaliteit van de afdronk.
