Nose: An instant, enticing hit of tart stewed red fruits combines with roasted chestnuts and golden syrup.
Palate: The flavours eagerly develop, now with Rhubarb crumble and custard and more nutty flavours – peanut butter – being leant to the delicate Speyside spirit by the South African fortified wine cask.
Finish: Peach jam, followed by some candied orange peel and rum-soaked raisins.
